More than just chocolate: a country I would like to visit

When it comes to think about Switzerland, maybe one of the first words that comes to your mind is “chocolate”. I know, I can’t blame you but this country is even more amazing than their famous chocolates.

Switzerland is not only one country on the list of countries with better life quality, also it results to be one of the most charming of Europe or even of the world. For sure, it is one place I’d love to visit someday (I hope sooner than later) and, in a few points, I’ll tell you why.

Well, how not to start by naming the fact that they are so many natural wonders around. Its glaciers, mountains, woods, falls, lakes and rivers offer incredible views you cannot avoid to fall in love with if you are a nature lover, as it happens to me. I have always been a fan of visiting natural environments and when it comes to reach the opportunity of stopping by a river or a lake, even better.

Getting back to chocolate, I cannot avoid to name Switzerland’s gastronomy. Apart of them (the chocolates), they have a big amount of different incredible cheeses. Can it get better?

Yes! The cities and villages history are practically intact. The really old architecture remains mainly intact after all these years, bringing all kind of historic patrimony coexisting with contemporary buildings, depending of the place. One of the biggest “whys” I want to get there is to get to know those tiny rural villages surrounded only by nature that sincerely look like from a fantasy book.

As I’m talking about this, I’d like to add the fact that arts and culture have an importance in the country, reuniting interesting museums dedicated to arts in general, photography and design. As some of you know, I study Arts, I have studied Environment’s and Object’s Design and I practice photography as a hobby.

Just by describing it in those short lines I think Switzerland sounds like an amazing country to visit, or maybe at least if you have some common interests with me.

As I said, I hope to visit it sooner than later and maybe, if everything goes well, I’ll be able to make that dream becoming true if I reach to get into a Master in Spain after finishing Art school. Fingers crossed.
